Barley is a great grain alternative to rice: It gets far less arsenic exposure than rice, it’s high in fibre, protein and a source of iron and b-vitamins. And it's also very easy to make in you rice cooker!
When the bell rings, open lid and fluff up barley with a rice paddle.
